Sundays + Cooking

Sunday's are great days for many things - including but not limited to all Sunday Funday extra curricular activities, catching up on everything you neglect to do during a busy work week, and time with family. I made a delicious Sunday meal that is perfect for spring time.

The Perfect Spring Time Roasted Chicken

01

WHAT YOU NEED:

4-5 Pound Chicken

Roasemary

Garlic

Fresh Ground Pepper

1/2 a lemon

1 tablespoon of butter

1 Can of Bud Light Lime

(only 1 can for the chicken, recommendation is at least a 6 pack - in case you get thirsty)

02

S

Rinse off your chicken and make sure all the giblets are out of the chickens

cavity. Preheat oven to 430 Degrees.

Melt Butter then add together rosemary, ground pepper and beer. Squeeze in some lemon juice.

Spoon mixture over the chicken.

Stick the half of lemon inside the chicken with 1 clove of garlic.

03

Pop the chicken in the oven for 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Half way through bake time, baste juices over the top of the chicken.

After your timer goes off for an hour and 15 minutes, broil on HIGH for 5 minutes, to get a delicious crisp to your chicken!

When done, check internal temperature. 165 degrees is the number!

This was easily the most "fall off the bone" chicken I have ever made. When trying to pull a drum off, all of the meat fell completely off!

Let me know what you think of this recipe, and feel free to share with family and friends, on a beautiful Spring Sunday!
